Minimal Risk were engaged as retained security consultants to the British Land Company Plc in early 2011.
This project involved the production of an initial Portfolio Wide Risk Assessment and Guidance Report and subsequent Centre Specific Risk Assessments of higher risk locations. This was implemented over a concise programme.
Each report contained a threat assessment, an analysis of current measures and a concise recommendations section with matrix to allow management to track implementation progress. The aim was to reduce risk at sites and also to improve emergency preparedness for a range of possible scenarios.
Where possible measures were also recommended that could complement existing security arrangements and be sympathetic to the needs of an office, retail or entertainment environment.
Following on from the above a Best Practice Guide document was also produced as both a checklist for individual sites and as a benchmark for establishing minimum service level requirements for Security Contractors operating on the portfolio.
