Technical Consultancy
Integrating Technology with Security
Minimal Risk Consultancy (MRC) always seek to recommend and advocate measures, based on the risk, which will be as cost effective as is feasible with the focus being on efficiency. The principal aim being to seek, combine and streamline any existing measures so as far as is practical to maximise effectiveness. This approach always considers feasibility for a commercial organisation, whist maximising protection of life and assets.
Technical security consultancy services form part of our capability to deliver project management support and combine the best use of technology with the proactive deployment of security personnel. MRC can work alongside Client’s in-house teams and existing suppliers to independently review security measures and advise on enhancements and efficiencies.
MRC has a team of security consultants to survey and assess all technical aspects of security including surveillance, electronic access control and intruder detection systems for static and mobile requirements. Some examples of completed and ongoing projects are:
- Complete survey of the access control, CCTV and intruder detection and systems for a news organisation in London.
- A global security review for one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers with a network of operations in 30 countries and expertise in financial, foreign exchange and commodities markets.
- Physical security review of perimeters, pedestrian, and vehicle gate access for a brewing conglomerate across Europe. This considered the use of intelligent CCTV with analytics and event driven responses for operators.
- Development of a Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) specification to enable a major aviation client to procure a category of software that is designed to integrate multiple unconnected security applications across their global footprint.
- Completed IED and VBIED mitigation surveys and site risk assessments for varying clients. These related to both physical aspects of landscape design and technical aspects of security and systems.
- Installation of GPS tracking systems for a client’s VIP fleet in Central London for ‘real time monitoring’ by the Close Protection Teams online.
- Review of a network of coach stations across the UK to advise on security preparedness and aspects to improve public safety on the transport network.
