The New Year Overseas and International Honours List recognises people who have given exceptional service to the UK abroad and internationally.
It honours individuals who have shown exceptional dedication to their profession, demonstrated moral courage or achieved significant innovative change.
This year, our overseas Team Leader Scott Burgess was awarded an MBE for outstanding services to the British Embassy in Tehran.
He was invited to Buckingham Palace where Prince William awarded him his honour.
