Meet Dave Woodward – Estate Supervisor at Harewood Estate
After completing the shift handover, Dave prepares the patrol vehicle for a busy day. Covering 4,000 acres, work begins with inspecting estate areas, conducting morning welfare visits to the House team and standing by for any potential alarm activations.
The weekly Estate Operations meeting commences and then site patrols begin, focusing on property checks, asset protection, poaching and trespass prevention. As the day unfolds, high-visibility patrols continue, monitoring the perimeter and livestock, while liaising with the tenants and rural police. He checks in with the main security team at the TV film set, then heads back to patrol.
