John Davies – Security Officer to Contract Manager
‘I joined MRC in 2010 as a Security Officer working on the Forestry Commission of Wales contract. In 2014 we provided security for the Tour de France at Harewood House which really kicked off the event work. We did The Game Fair, the APF Show, the VW Festival, the Lincolnshire Show…too many to count!
I started within the team and then levelled up to management, and in 2016 became the Contract Manager overseeing UK events. I work with the Directors often, and the experience in the office gives me great ‘rounded’ knowledge. I’ve also gained a Security Management Diploma under MRC and continue to push my professional development.
When MRC joined the Arcfyre Group, our reach widened and more opportunities arose, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing how we grow in the future.’
